Phippsburg Maine


Today was 200 mile road trip to visit Dorothy failed to take any pictures check out Sandra’s blog for pictures. Yesterday Boat tour of the seven lighthouses 3 1/2  hours; departing Bath (Maine Maritime Museum) on Kennebec River, the Atlantic Ocean returning by the Bath River and inland waterways (saltwater). On the trip shipbuilding (red a destroyer under construction), river lighthouses, harbor seals, Osprey nest, sailboats, the fort (boat view) ocean lighthouses. The buoys you see are marking lobster traps around the sailboat near the light house; they were everywhere (800).

Bath Iron Works-General Dynamics Shipbuilding--- destroyer (red) being constructed in dry-docks .


Full-scale replica of the largest wooden ship built in the United States was built in this shipyard
