Today I went to the highest point east of the Black Hills of
South Dakota. Mount Washington New Hampshire 220 mile round trip ride. Took the
cog-railroad to the top 45 min. ride 37° grade, second steepest railroad in the
world 3600 change in attitude. Driving back in Maine at a negative low tide and
thunderstorm at the beach. Yesterday I drove 350 mile round trip to Hartford,
Connecticut passing through New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Everything looked
pretty much the same driving in a canyon of trees with brief periods of towns
with old New England style buildings interesting though.
