Today I spent the day at the Erie Canal. The boat on the
canal, walk for water tunnel aqueduct for manufacturing along the canal, boat
ride in the aqueduct tunnel. The stone buildings in the pictures were made from
the stone from the canal. In a couple of pictures you see, what looks like a
smaller canal to the right, that is the original Erie Canal it has been widened
three times they had to make new larger locks. Now where there are 2 locks the
first canal had five locks
