Civil War battlefield of Shiloh 1862 where there
were 23,746 dead, wounded or missing in 3 days. The greatest loss of life
for Americans all wars combined to April 1862.
On the way there we drove the Natchez Trace (the pioneer trail from Nashville Tennessee to Natchez Mississippi) we passed through three states Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi it is a National Park Way you see no towns they try to make it like the old days, but a paved road.
