Rocky Harbour Newfoundland

In the last 7 days visited Bonavista (puffins a replica of John Cabot's ship they were really brave or lacked good judgment), Twillingate iceberg capital of the world no icebergs this time of the year, went on a whale watching boat tour the killer whales were in the area all the other whales left so the only whale we saw is the one in the picture. Kayaked in a bay of the North Atlantic beyond the big rock in the picture is the open ocean that's all the closer I got (I'm not as brave as John Cabot). The better a lot of pictures of St. John's Newfoundland to Rocky Harbour Newfoundland

They had ferry problems not ours, diverted all ferries to Port-Aux-Basque, Newfoundland. 660 passengers and a full load of cars and trucks (2 miles) 7 levels 8, 9 and 10 passengers, it took 2 hours to load. Maybe 300 in the ship's crew. Newfoundland is very beautiful the people are friendly and helpful .
