We cross Cabot Strait 5hr ferry ride 96 miles to
Newfoundland. Arrived 11 o'clock at night 8/5/13 we all (20 RVs) drove 13 miles
spent the night in a truck parking lot (boon docking). 8/6/13 drove 284 miles Bishop Falls . (8/7/13) 264 miles to St. John's, Newfoundland. The original plan was to
take the ferry overnight to St. John's. They had ferry problems not ours, diverted
all ferries to Port-Aux-Basque, Newfoundland. 660 passengers and a full load of
cars and trucks (2 miles) 7 levels 8, 9 and 10 passengers, it took 2 hours to load.
Maybe 300 in the ship's crew. Newfoundland is very beautiful the people are friendly and helpful .
