Ohio Key, Florida

This is my last day on the keys. It has been quite windy today 18 miles an hour gusts to 28 miles an hour  stayed around the RV checking out the Marina, beach and fishing bridges.There were two Manatee in the Marina earlier in the week did not have my camera have gone back numerous times trying to get a picture. No luck though
Tomorrow back to Everglades National Park for two nights might not have cell phone service there then on to Fort Myers , Adding pictures I took this week.

At low tide you could walk-through here  to get to the other side of the key

Ohio Key , Florida

Have gone to two botanical gardens one in Key West. The other on marathon key looking for butterflies must be the wrong time of year only have found two types of butterflies. Went to the Turtle Hospitals for sea turtles rescue rehab release.

The turtles in the blue containers are newcomers and may get to go back to the sea.

This is a baby one. I think five months old

all the rest of them cannot make it on their own. One has been here 20 years

. It was  hot 85° did not see many deer or birds because of the heat

saw three  iguana this big one stayed for picture. The other two ran in a flash

at RV Park all the flowers and Palm

Ohio Key – Sunshine Key Resort and Marina

We made it 55 miles out in the ocean. Atlantic Ocean on the East side.  Florida Bay (Gulf of Mexico) to the West, another 39 miles to the end of the road the farthest point South in the United States.

 I am writing this at 11:30 PM is 74° wind 10 miles per hour the high hear today was 78°  wind.10 miles per hour. Not much change from night to day
Was at Everglades national Park for two nights, no phone service will add pictures tomorrow
